The Twili Weapons are a set of lightweight, shadowy weapons similar in strength to Ebony weapons.

They are commonly wielded by Hylian Vampires, Hylian Ghosts, Bokoblins, and Dark Interlopers.

Unlike with other recurring weapons, Twili Weapons cannot be reforged by combining two of the same weapon at the Terminan Forge.

However, the Orcish-strength Lesser Twili Weapons can be reforged into the rarer, stronger Twili Weapons.

Lesser Twili Weapons are identical in appearance, speed, reach, weight, and value to Twili Weapons. They only differ in weapon damage.

Enchantment[]

Twili weapons share the Twilight Damage enchantment. Twilight Damage causes weapon strikes to deal 10 points of Fire Damage at dawn (between the hours of 5:00AM and 7:00AM in game) and 10 points of Frost Damage at dusk (5:00PM to 7:00 PM). The enchantment can be learned from a Twili weapon or Lesser Twili weapon.

The Twili Battleaxe is equal in strength to a Stalhrim Battleaxe, with the lesser weight of an Elven Sword.

The Lesser Twili Battleaxe can be taken to a Terminan Forge and be reforged into a stronger version if the player also has a Dark Essence in their inventory.

Lore[]

Legend says that the Twili Weapons are forged from shadows and imbued with the dim light of the Twilight Realm. The method for forging a Twili weapon is lost, but their composition is similar to Daedric Weapons, leading some to believe that each Twili weapon contains the soul of a Twili.

Background and Inspiration[]

Twili Weapons were added in version 6.26 and were later adjusted to include Lesser Twili Weapons in version 6.44. Prior to version 6.32 Twili Weapons were classified with Ebony weapon material.

The Twili Glaive was added in version 6.5.12 as were recipes connecting Lesser Twili Weapons to Twili Weapons.

The Twili Weapons are retextured Nordic Weapons except for the Twili Bow, Twili Morning Star, Twili Sabre, Twili Scythe and Twili Odachi. The Twili Bow is a retextured Orcish Bow, the Twili Morning Star, Twili Sabre, and Twili Scythe use meshes from Artifacts of Ultima by DMagnus, and the Twili Odachi uses a mesh from URW - Useless Resources - Weapons by Urwy

JKalenad is very proud of the Twili Weapons and considers them some of his best work.
