Kinolangdanzel[]

You are tasked with retrieving an artifact from a Dwemer ruin north of our embassy in Haafingar. The ruin is supposedly incomplete, so do not expect Dwemer automata, but do not be complacent. Equip yourself well. Failure is not an option.

If our sources are correct, this artifact is part of a history that must be ignored and forgotten. If knowledge of the magic associated with this artifact is spread, the authority of the Aldmeri Dominion will be threatened.

Let the past die.

Kill it, if you have to.

For the glory of the Aldmeri Dominion.

Drab Strongbox Minish Dungeon[]

You are tasked with retrieving an artifact from our colleagues on the island of Solstheim. It is contained within a strongbox found inside an abandoned lodge. The artifact must be secured and transported to us so that it may be studied.

False God Passage (Mirror Section)[]

You are tasked with destroying a magical item in a flooded ruin near Shor's Stone.

If our sources are correct, this object is dangerously powerful and resonates with ancient temples and Shrines. While it may be useful to the thalmor, it represents old magic and history that is best forgotten.

It's existence threatens us.

Let the past die.

Kill it, if you have to.

For the glory of the Aldmeri Dominion.

Notes[]

The Kinolangdanzel orders likely refer to the Ocarina of Time, given the insistence that "Failure is not an option."

The Drab Strongbox orders likely refer to the Charred Fragment found in a Minish Chest inside the strongbox.

The False God Passage's Mirror Section orders refer to the broken Magic Mirror right next to the orders

Location[]

Thalmor Orders can be found outside Kinolangdanzel and in the Drab Strongbox Minish Dungeon.

A Thalmor Soldier inside Kinolangdanzel carries the Kinolangdanzel variant of the Thalmor Orders. The soldier is found in a damaged hallway accessed by a steep incline connected to the Skulltula-infested room of the dungeon.

A Thalmor Wizard trapped in the Drab Strongbox carries the respective variant of the Thalmor Orders.

The Thalmor orders in False God Passage are next to the broken Magic Mirror

Background and Inspiration[]

The Thalmor Orders were added to enrich the lore of the mod and to establish that the player is not alone in their pursuit of Relics of Hyrule.

"Let the past die. Kill it, if you have to" is a quote from Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi.
