Ok. For some reason I do not have an edit option at all. BTW do I need Whirlwind Sprint to complete this dungeon? I got to the point where the first door in the entrance is opened but it just leads me back to the main pit with no way across
I am going to watch your video now. If you don't mind looking at what I have so far and point me somewhat in the right direction (ie i missed a doorway) that would be super cool. YouTube won't load your video. Says the link is bad
There's the video. Hopefully that link works.
What you have written so far looks good! Thanks for the contribution.
I corrected a few typos (e.g. "duel," instead of "dual") and I corrected the puzzle solution to the lever puzzle.
Also, if you're feeling really advanced, feel free to add links to exising pages as items or RoH features are mentioned in what you're writing. You can easily add links by highlighting a term (e.g. "Deku Nuts"), clicking the Link button or pressing ctrl+K, clicking on the gray bar with text that appears, and selecting an existing page from the dropdown menu. If no page exists, that's okay, you can just hit "Done," and when the page for the term is ultimately added to the wiki, it'll automatically connect from the article.
Relics of Hyrule has a Discord server, too, and there's a channel there dedicated to the wiki, if you're interested in discussing it with other RoH fans.
Awesome! I thought my walkthrough looked weird. Did you get a chance to look at it. I still can't find the valve/lever I am missing. I went through the whole dungeon 4 times and still can't find it 😂 I take it part 1 is you getting ti the armory?
Ok so I just have to say that the jump near the end of the temple is impossible. I don't have the Roc's Cape so i can't make that jump. (I tried for half an hour before coming to you) Are you planning on making a way for people or should I add a required items tab in the info box?
I'm not adjusting the jump. I don't see the need for a required items tab, but you could mention that the Roc's Cape/Hover Boots/Whirlwind Sprint, etc. are recommended for the dungeon in the first description of the Water Temple. People get creative, though, so I don't know how necessary it is.
The levers are a puzzle: finding which lever works. I may rework it in the future, but it's not a priority.
And yes, part 1 of the pair of videos is the first half of the water temple, plus Aquatic Passage.
I'm not sure which lever you can't find. Everything about getting through the temple is outlined in the two-part video I shared.
I watched the video. Thats how i figured out you need the jump. Also, this may just be me being a bad player but the gear lift lever feels out of reach. I am not sure if it's the mechanic of me trying to stay on the edge or I am just really bad at timing. I am really loving your mod though. I haven't been this excited to play Skyrim in so long. I am really sorry if I am being a pain in the butt about all of this. I understand and appreciate all the work you have put into the mod.
The gear lift lever is a little tricky, I found that in testing as well. The Water Temple was a big challenge for me to set up, so I let the lever slide. I may tweak it at some point, but currently my philosophy with it is, "well, it functions!"
I definitely appreciate the observations and input, but I'm not exactly looking for feedback, especially on small details. Plus, the best places for feedback are on the Nexus page or in the Relics of Hyrule Discord.
I made a few adjustments and clarifications.
When I get a chance I'll finish the article with lore and background.
Thank you for your help!
I'm usually kind of busy, so I can't guarantee that I'll be able to help much with future articles. Feel free to add whatever you can, and I can adjust as needed.
I'm updating the page for Greif and I'm currently in Lorule, and I've found the Ancient Coffin with unique gear in it. What I don't know for sure though is that there's an improved stal helmet and a Mage's Hood that is in there so I don't know if that's part of a leveled loot drop table or what. I did find the rupee in there is random, even with a chance of nothing so I really don't know what to put for the chest contents in there. I have yet to post my edit as I'm still going through but I'd like to clear this up before publishing. If I can't get a reply, I'll leave it hidden for the time being.
I would just like to personally thank you for this amazing mod which is still adding countless hours of fun to my skyrim experience. I am currently doing a ganondorf based character (I know the canon to the mod is he's dead but hey why not) thanks again
I got this mod, maybe about a month ago and I love it! I've been playing it a lot lately and just wanted to say, that I'm a huge fan! I've been searching for the secret grottos and i have 4 shards of the Trigforce.
I know you said you wouldn't respond to questions about SSE, but I found a few bugs for when you're ready to begin the conversion. You don't even need to reply to this. I'll just leave the bugs found here and probably update it when I find more.
The Forgotten Sword has a bugged model, leaving only the holding part intact.
One of the statues, Din, has bugged textures.
The added races don't have torsos.
Once, I teleported with the Forgotten Sword and, when I arrived at the location, 2 thirds or so of my screen was pure black.
I seriously love this mod. I love that you managed to make it break as much lore as you did. I seriously love that. I just love Zelda, and it was hare for me to find a good zelda mod, so I was stocked when I found this mod. I even write Zelda fanfiction. So that fact that you managed to capture the spirit of The Legend of Zelda and plkace it in Skyrim with little problems. You did good with this. I intend to suggest this to my older sister whenever I see her next because she plays Skyrim, and I know that she's played at least two different Zelda games.
I know you said you wouldn't be doing any more major updats, but I'd like to see an update based off of Hyrule warriors. Maybe add something like Cia's robes or Lana's spear. I know the chances aren't high, due to the game being hard to notice, but I'd like to see something like that
I just wanted to see something based off of hyrule warriors other then Linkles Crossbow. I'll be happy with that. So..thanks. Also, I REALLY love this mod. I'd recomend this to anyone. And I mean anyone.
Right now it's only me and CamelChip579208 consistently adding to the wikia, so progress is pretty slow. There are over 100 empty pages (i.e. pages that are linked to at least twice from various places on the wikia), and over 300 "wanted" pages (i.e. pages that are linked to at least once).
If you want to contribute, you are certainly welcome to do so. Just keep in mind that CamelChip579208 or I might make some edits.
I appreciate the suggestion, but that wouldn't fit the theme of Relics of Hyrule. I'm also not in the habit of moving items after their locations have been established. Kamdelimar was built to house the Wind Waker, after all.
