The Lokomo Sword is a powerful one-handed weapon that can only be obtained through crafting.
The Lokomo Sword is equal in strength to a Dragonbone Sword. The complete Lokomo Sword deals extra damage to undead, with considerable damage to undead added by Relics of Hyrule. Undead may also be paralyzed for 11 seconds when struck by the sword. This effect is not present on the sword unless it is given a scabbard during the crafting process. Without a scabbard, the sword carries a standard paralysis enchantment with a chance to paralyze foes for 6 seconds.

Lore
Edit
The Lokomo Sword was used during the Battle of a Thousand Heroes, and the hero wielding it single-handedly defeated hundreds of undead. One fight shattered the sword's blade, and after the Last Great War of Hyrule concluded, the heavily damaged sword was lost. Unlike several other relics of Hyrule, the Lokomo Sword was not protected by residual magic. The Dwemer who constructed the ruin connected to the Reach Secret Grotto uncovered the crossguard of the Lokomo Sword buried deep underground. Its resemblance to a cog caused the Dwemer to search for pieces of the machine they assumed it came from, but no other pieces were found.
Background and Inspiration
Edit
The Lokomo Sword model was donated by fcp078.
The lengthy crafting process for the Lokomo Sword was based on the process used by modern blacksmiths to craft weapons. Some steps are omitted or streamlined, but still stands in stark contrast to Skyrim's usual crafting system.
The Lokomo Sword was given its process because of the technological theme of Spirit Tracks, and to provide a unique means of obtaining the sword.
Given the ability to craft bars, blanks, and grips without the need of a Lokomo relic, JKalenad is considering applying these items to other weapons in the future.
JKalenad is also considering retexturing the Orichalcum Cog to be more weathered and dark.
