Hjaalmarch Secret Grotto is a small, cave-like Secret Grotto accessed by a trapdoor located west of Meeko's Shack. It consists of a small cave that breaks into a small ruined hall filled with rubble. It contains Roc's Cape and houses Ellary. Firewood, Deku Nuts, a Gold Skulltula Token, and two pieces of Skulltula Chitin can be found among Ellary's supplies.
On the west side of the first room lies a lever that opens the cave door behind it. Further down the hallway awaits a Lesser Poe that guards Roc's Cape.
Background and Inspiration[]
Hjaalmarch Secret Grotto was added in version 4.5. It originally consisted of the small cave portion and was implemented to serve as Ellary's home. It was expanded in version 6.0. A Lightning Stal that fought alongside the Poe was removed in version 6.47.
The grotto is unique in that two Golden Foxes can be found outside instead of one.
It is connected to the Volcanic Passage, once the Song of Time is played with the Ocarina of Time.
