The Zora Forge is a crafting station used to create Zora Weapons and armor, including jewelry. It can also be used to craft Nayru's Blessing and treat the Seashell Sword and the Mirror Shield of Secrets.

The Zora Forge is located at the top of the Water Temple in the Water Temple Armory. In its chamber are an Alteration Table, a Quicksilver Ingot, a Malachite Ingot, Zora Robes, and a copy of Ocean Soul.

When it is first visited, the forge is decorated with Zora banners. After completing the Water Temple and returning to the forge, a Yiga Footsoldier will be found, and the banners will be replaced with Yiga Banners.

Reforging[]

Reforging with the Zora Forge involves combining any Zora weapon or any Zora Shield with a single Quicksilver Ingot. Reforged Zora items are brighter in appearance and are one point stronger than their standard counterparts.

Lore[]

The Zora Forge once used water from Zora River to cut and shape items. When the river froze, the Zora enhanced their machinery and used pressurized groundwater. A cryogenic liquid was developed using magic and this was used to further strengthen the Zora Forge, allowing it to cut finer shapes.

Background and Inspiration[]

The Zora Forge was added in version 6.5.21 with the Water Temple. It is based on a waterjet machine.

The valves on the Zora Forge control a small stream of water and can be activated to move the stream up and down. However, this effect is hard to see from the control panel.

The cold liquid being pumped from deep underground is inspired by liquid nitrogen. As such, one pipe of the Zora Forge is covered in ice and mist drops from it to replicate the behavior of pipes carrying liquid nitrogen.
