Farore's Wind is an Adept level Alteration spell added by Relics of Hyrule. It functions as a mark and recall spell as of version 6.3 of the mod.
The only way to learn the spell is to craft and read Spell Tome: Farore's Wind, which requires that the player has Farore's Emerald. Farore's Gale or Farore's Squall can be learned when the player learns Farore's Wind.
Effect[]
Farore's Wind is a script-based effect and follows a routine logic when cast.
When spell is cast, a green whirlwind, the Warp Point, appears, and a blast of wind staggers nearby foes.
A subsequent cast of the spell will present the player with a message box:

The first choice, "Cancel," will exit the menu without any action being taken.
The second choice, "Return to the Warp Point," will teleport the player to the location of the Warp Point placed on the previous cast of the spell. The Warp Point will also be dispelled.
The third choice, "Dispel the Warp Point," will remove the Warp Point and reset the spell.
Any cast after choosing the second or third choice from the menu will automatically place a new Warp Point.

Spell Tome: Farore's Wind teaches the spell Farore's Wind. It can be crafted at an Ancient Enchanter.

Background and Inspiration[]
Farore's Wind was originally included in the standalone Golden Goddess Spells mod before being integrated into Relics of Hyrule. It was radically changed in version 6.3 of the mod to function as a mark and recall spell.
The function of Farore's Wind is very closely based on its function in Ocarina of Time, down to the text that is displayed when the player uses the spell. One difference, however, is that Farore's Wind cannot warp the player to a dungeon's entrance.
In version 6.3 JKalenad rebuilt Farore's Wind from scratch to more closely behave like the original spell from Ocarina of Time. This involved adding a spell called Farore's Squall that functions as Farore's Wind did prior to version 6.3.
