The Book of Koridai can be found in Wylandriah's study in Mistveil Keep. It is located on a shelf under a countertop.
A second copy of the Book can be found in The Ruptured Towers - Misery, in a room filled with other books and Seekers.
Prior to 6.3, Wylandriah's copy could not be taken without being stolen.
The Book of Koridai can be taken to a smelter and converted into a Ruined Book or a Burned Book.
The presence of the Book of Koridai implies that the incarnation of Link featured in The Faces of Evil and The Wand of Gamelon was present at the Battle of a Thousand Heroes.
Background and Inspiration Edit
The Book of Koridai is one of three joke items in Relics of Hyrule (four if the Power Sword is counted) based on items from the Zelda games for the Philips CD-i. The Book of Koridai is from Link: The Faces of Evil, and its form in Relics of Hyrule is very different from the "canon."
The illustration at the beginning of the Book of Koridai is a still of Ganon from one of the infamous cut-scenes in The Faces of Evil, with the image of the Doge internet meme superimposed over his face. The text of the book is written in the style of the Doge meme.
The text quotes Ganon from The Faces of Evil, and references the Triforce of Power. It alludes to the book's ability to destroy evil, and claims that the book is of high-quality and incredible strength. The text also quotes a review of The Faces of Evil by The Angry Video Game Nerd.
Please note that the linked review contains foul language.
The book was placed with Wylandriah to complement her humorously clueless persona.
The Book of Koridai is JKalenad's favorite joke item.
